Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Last week I tried to find an easy gluten free pulled pork recipe and I finally found one! I made my own modifications and thought I would share it with you guys!

Ingredients: 

1 large onion (I just used dried onion flakes) 

6-7 lbs pork roast

1 TBSP salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 cup chicken broth (I used chicken stock with no gluten or MSG)

1 cup BBQ sauce

2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce 

3 large garlic cloves, pressed (I just used powder)

2 TBSP brown sugar
Instructions:

1. Chop one large onion and place in bottom of slow cooker. 

  
2. Combine salt, pepper, and paprika and sprinkle on roast. Rub the seasoning into the meat and place on top of onions. 

  
3. To make marinade: combine chicken broth, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and garlic. Stir and pour marinade over pork. 

  
4. Cover and set on low for 14 hours. After 8 hours cut up pork into little pieces so he marinade can sink in better and so the pork can cook better.  (My husband was kind enough to do this for me 😊)

   
 
5. After 14 hours, shred with a fork.
